The 13th October, INNO-CCUS hosted a project showcase at Stenlille for its partners in collaboration with Gas Storage Denmark. Stenlille is going to be Denmark’s first onshore CO2 facility with an expected minimum capacity of 10 million tons, planned to achieve operational status in 2025.
Participants had the opportunity to experience a gas storage facility first-hand where they store natural gas 1.5 kilometers underground using the same principles that will be applied to CO2 storage.
