Project Showcase: Public acceptance

Public support is essential for building a sustainable carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) industry in Denmark. But what do we know about current perceptions of CCUS, and how can we, as CCUS professionals, engage more effectively with the public?

On 12 November, public acceptance of CCUS will take center stage at the upcoming INNO-CCUS Project Showcase, hosted by GEUS, an organisation with extensive hands-on experience in CCUS and public engagement. This event will provide insights into the key factors shaping public opinion on CCUS and strategies for effective engagement.

You’ll also gain valuable guidance on how societal and system-level aspects — beyond public acceptance —can be integrated into future projects, helping you align with upcoming INNO-CCUS call requirements and strengthen the impact of your work.

The event is open to all partners, meaning anyone working at an INNO-CCUS partner organisation can attend.
